English Language Test
Universities in Singapore use English as a medium for communication. In order to get admission, you need to qualify for the English proficiency tests. If you have completed your 12 years of schooling, then you will be free from giving these tests, but if you have completed your degree in any other language, you need to qualify for exams like IELTS, TOEFL PTE, etc.
IELTS
In this exam, there are four sections – reading, writing, speaking & listening. Candidates have to score well in each of these sections as well as overall marks should also meet the requirement marks of the university. The exam fee is 190 USD. A score of 6.5 is ideal for getting admission to some university of Singapore.

MUET
In this test, marks are not given, and instead of marks, award bands from 1 to 6 are given to the students. The minimum band requirement by the University of Singapore is band 3. The cost of this exam is 24 USD. The score for this exam will be valid for five years.
Aptitude Tests
To get admission to a particular test, you need to qualify for an exam specific to that course. These are different for UG & PG course. These exams are- UEE, SAT, ACT, GMAT & GRE.
UAE
UAE is not compulsory for all students, and its syllabus and fee structure depends upon the university you are choosing. Students are required to visit the university website for more details related to this exam.
SAT In this exam, there are three sections- reading, writing & maths. The score is divided into two sections. The reading & writing section is considered proof of language proficiency & maths score as proof of subject aptitude. The cost of this form is 49 USD, and its qualifying score depends on the university.
ACT In this exam there is 4 section- reading, English, maths & science and cost of this exam is 105 USD. Section cut-offs depend upon the area of study.
GRE It is essential to take admission in management and law programs & GRE Subject Test. It is necessary to take admission in science & literature. The cost of this exam is 213 USD. The average cut-offs to qualify for this exam is 300.
GMAT It has four sections, and the cost of this exam will be 249 USD. The average score required to qualify for this exam is 650.
